You MUST use the UT tickets for at least one day before this trick works. Otherwise they do not bring the tickets to "gate" price. The "discount" is basically the savings between a gate ticket and the UT price.

The AP should be dated with the date you FIRST used the UT tickets. So if you go the parks today 2/2 and do the exchange Friday 2/5, your AP start date will be 2/2.
