Default New here...HELP! Some questions

Please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong place or the wrong way. I am new here and had no clue how to work this forum, lol.
I booked a trip a few months ago for November 2-6, 2012. My first question is: Is this Jersey week? We planned it then thinking we would have low crowds, but then I read about Jersey week.
My next question is: I have had car problems and my dog got sick and I had to take him to the vet. Both of these events took my trip money that I had planned to put towards our trip So now I am stuck with the realization that we might not get the balance paid off by mid september. Will Disney let us move our reservations to a later month? We don't want to cancel, but it might be helpful if we could go in maybe February of 2013 and have a few more months to pay on it. Thank you for any help in advance. I am excited that I found this website and hope that it will help me out with my trip planning. We went to Disney last yr, but that was the first time in about 18 yrs I have been and we went with my inlaws , so we didn't have to do much of the planning. Thanks again

Jersey Week is Nov. 3-11 this year and yes, it will be crowded.
Postponing is no problem.

The week after should be okay but the week after that is Thanksgiving week so keep that in mind if you will need to deal with airfare!

Very true. After Jersey Week and before Thanksgiving is a great time to
visit Disney. Low crowds, usually nice weather, Christmas decorations are up
and MVMCP is going on.

I booked a trip a few months ago for November 2-6, 2012. My first question is: Is this Jersey week? NO JERSEY WEEK WOULD BE FROM 11/3 OR 11/4 UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEEK. THIS IS BASED ON E NJEA CONVENTION!!!!

IF YOU BOOKED WITH DISNEY DIRECT THEN YES! IF YOU BOOKED THROUGH A DVC OWNER ALL BETS ARE OFF. THIS IS BECAUSE IT WILL DEPEND ON THE OWNER'S UY AND FLEXIBILITYWe don't want to cancel, but it might be helpful if we could go in maybe February of 2013 and have a few more months to pay on it. Thank you for any help in advance. I am excited that I found this website and hope that it will help me out with my trip planning. Sorry to hear about our dog and good luck!

Thank you!! My dog is doing great now. He is an old man and had some issues with his back. $200 later, he is much better
We did book directly through Disney. We will be driving, we live in Georgia. So we are only about 6-7 hours away!
