Eric, in response to your "And/Or" I disagree.

Obviously VA has been successful in just the tax cut mode for balancing the budget while MD had not with their tax increase method. It is all about what benefits and programs you are willing to do without...

the facts are virginia's credit rating has been lowered. so going forward they will be limited in capital projects. i have no problems with maryland's governor. he has done a good job despite our economic problems. he has made many cuts, but at some point you have to do whatcha gotta do. he has a set unlike many other politicians.

I will take a tighter rating (and less government spending in capital projects ) vs higher taxes and wealth leaving my state....

Nice win tonight as UK makes Rick Pitano happy by bringing the championship to his state. Regardless of tax or spending rates.

Not to mention that somebody on the extremes like Bill Ayers is never going to set the terms of the debate. Worrying about him is like me worrying that any significant number of people would take Fred Phelps seriously.

lpereira - glad you're back in town. Ready for Romney to seal the deal tomorrow? (Or resigned to that?)

I'll do that for you...

I really don't care about the poll numbers you want to post....many sources out there founded and unfounded. I'm sure you will find some set of numbers to support your case. Again, really don't care.
