Today was the first day for enforcement of fast pass return times? What is happening in The World??

BTW, nicsmom, I live in a house with 3 guys in MI.. Where abouts do you live? We are in Zeeland - between Grand Rapids and Holland.

It was 56 last I saw here, but overcast and windy. Yesterday was beautiful. I hope it lasts. The boys start track season on Monday.

Keeping on track, I wonder how it is going. I suspect the % of people who knew of the lax rules was relatively small.

A friend posted on Facebook an actual FP ticket. It does say that passes after the time allowed will not be accepted, or something to that effect.

I saw a few of those posted around on sites as well...a shame that with a month since Disney announced the change, they never had a chance to spell check the new fastpass wording...I believe on all new fastpasses they spelled "accommodate" wrong!

Relative to what? I would expect that a high number of those getting WDW FP's on a regular basis were aware of the lack of return time enforcement. Whether or not they always used every FP past the retrun window is the key. I would agree that is a much smaller number.

But given that smaller late return group typically followed the same use pattern, the small numbers can become a big problem.

Reports on several of my Twitter feeds are they are still allowing to come after the window but Reminding you it's not allowed . Some with scolding (not my words but in the tweet). Signs are posted at some places and the new FPs do have you can't arrive late or something to that .

Some were like 1hr past on TT, 20&45 min on Soarin StitchKingdom is the reference used here as I could go back and look at it. But i have friends in AK that have been going through about the same thing

I asked this morning at Mission to Mars. She said they were enforcing the return times.

Now that's hearsay as I didn't bother to get a FP as the Orange time as 10 minutes....

For dinner or something like that I bet if you showed the receipt which would validate you were at the resturant they would let you go... a "I was late at lunch" might be iffy as, due to boards like this, everyone will find out that works and use it no matter what.... (Over the years I have noticed that a lot of the "leeway" Disney used to give CMs has disappeared and I think that's one bad thing out of the internet. For example, years ago on hard ticketed events if you had a REAL emergency Disney would give you a refund. But... that became public knowledge and EVERYONE suddenly had "death, illness etc" so now... no go on the refunds!)

(But I can't imagine waiting an hour for LeCellier, I would have just left, but that's just me! If I am going to wait an hour for ANYTHING it had better be very good and sadly LeCellier doesn't fit my standard of worth an hour's wait)
