Default How strict is disney with their room occupancies

I plan on going to disney in two years. At that time my daughter will be 5 and my twin girls will be 2. It says a studio is up to 4 people. I'd really rather not double my bill for a hotel for a one bedroom. Is there any chance they would let me stay in a studio? If not does anyone know any cheaper options for a family of 5....thanks

Four plus a child under 3 is allowed.

Only problem I can see is sleeping arrangments. Some studios can now sleep 5 (AKV-Kidani, BLT, etc). However, there is only 1 pack and play per room, so if the twins are not used to sleeping together in a fold out sofa-bed, there might be some issues. Unless they sleep on the floor. I do not think we let our daughter sleep on the couch in a room until she turned 3 (just for safety reasons too).

You could always ask for a second pack and play, no harm in asking. My son is not yet 2.5 and he just slept on the pull out couch at VWL. Not sure if those couches are a lower profile than others or not, he didn't have any problems climbing in or out of bed.

True, you could get a second pack and play, but in a studio, the square footage disappears rather quickly when those pack-n-plays are unfolded. In a studio with 2 pack-n-plays would be like trying to walk a land mine field bare-footed. Sooner or later, you'll get hurt. LOL.

Can you fit a pack-n-play on the balcony?

Note - Sleeper chairs are only in 1BRs.

If you stay at OKW, there would probably be plenty of room, but then you'd get 2 beds and no couch.

Guess the kids will have to draw straws for who stays home.

Actually, no studios sleep 5. You are thinking of a 1 BR. All studios sleep 4, plus allow a child age 2 or under in a crib or pack n'play.

OP, one of your 2 year olds won't count towards occupancy, so you'll be able to book a studio.

If you don't unfold the couch into a bed and just have one of the kids sleep on that, you may have an easier time fitting 2 pack and plays.
