One Last Trip Before Our APs expire

For my Girls trip on October it was me my DD10, DD3 and DF, it was a great trip, but there were quite a few things that we just never got to do, so my lovely DH suggested that I take another quick trip before my AP expired on 12.5.11. I contemplated going solo, but thought that I might ge lonely, so I decied to take my DD10 with me since she also had an AP.

I was able to get a great price on a hotel and flight so we were flew down on Thursday 12/1/11 and back on 12/5/11, this TR will be very short and sweet, but I'll add several pictures.

We stayed at the Marriott Anaheim Suites, nice place, the room was very nice and all the staff were very friendly. it was about a

The first park day was Friday 12/2/11 and it happened to be a Candy Cane day so we made the Candy cane mad dash. I was lots of fun! We felt like spies in line whispering about the candy canes and then literally ran to the Candy Palace while most of the people were looking around wondering why all of these people were running.
This is the line in front of us and it was even longer behind.

They used Bracelets instead of vouchers this year, the first batch was red, and we got the second batch which was blue (not sure about the color for the 3rd batch).


We got our bracelet in time to head out at rope drop.

Day Two
TSMM - The mad dash to TSMM @ rope drop, so worth it at, we were off the ride in 20 min and the wait time was already 40 min by then (DLR really needs FP for this ride).
Cali Screamin' DD10 was terrified for her first time on this but loved it!!!

A Mickey bar for DD & a Homemade Almond Cookie Sandwich with Strawberry Crème - this is a holiday treat, the cookies are good but the crème is only ok.

Muppets 3D - could not believe how busy this was. It's always seemed like a much underappreciated (awesome) attraction...it's probably because of the new movie.

Dinner @ Cafe Orleans -pommes fites to share, gumbo for DD & the Monte Cristo for me. We also got Mickey beignets for dessert and they were cute, but I prefer the ones at the Jazz Kitchen.

After dinner we were pooped had been on our feet for almost 12 hours so we called it a night and said farewell to DLR. We have been very fortunate to have taken 4 trips to DLR this year, but DH does not want to go again next year so our APs have officially expired as of 12/5/11.

We did the same thing this past weekend. APs expire on December 10, so we went down Nov 30 - Dec 5, just before they expire. I miss being there already! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your TR!
