Welcome!.....nothing better than introducing the grandkids to Disney. I am glad we did this while they are small. It will provide years of memories.

Hi all I've been a DVC member since 2009 bought at BLT I have 3 grandchildren in their early teens my family has been visiting Disney since my children were young. We missed out this year I am saving my points for next July 2012 so that we can visit Aulani can"t wait!!!!!

Hey fellow mouseowners!!! I love the idea of these forums!!! I spend a lot of time on other forums in their DVC section, but I love how this site is all about DVC!!! We've joined in 2008 and added on earlier this year! We love all things Disney and love DVC!

Just saying a quick hello! Joined last week. I am not even a Mouse Owner yet, but hope to be within the next 12 months.

My wife and I are FL natives who grew up going to Disney but didn't go for a period of almost 15 years(!) until fate found us checking into AKL for our anniversary in 2010. Somewhere between watching giraffes grab dinner from our balcony and riding The Haunted Mansion over-and-over-and-over again, we ended up converting our 4 days for 99 bucks passes into park-hoppers and then the park-hoppers into annual passes before we left. We visited almost once a month (with the exception of the summer months) in 2010 and are absolutely hooked.

We are both librarians, so we can't do anything without oodles of research first, thus, I've been scouring this and other forums/sites learning as much as I can about the DVC before committing to buying in.

For what it's worth, this is by far the best site I've found for overall DVC info AND web boards. Very happy to be here and hopefully, one day soon, will be your "neighbor" at the Boardwalk Villas!

You and your family are going to have a FANTASTIC time! I just returned from Ko'Olina, HI from a birthday trip and while I was there I had to walk through the Aulani. It immediately pulled us in and now we are DVC members with the Aulani as our HOME! Aloha!

Hmmm I've posted around 35 or so items on here so I might as well join in and introduce myself.

I'm Megan and my DH and I currently have our first contract to become DVC owners at SSR in ROFR right now.

I heard about you by googling "DVC contracts," and what do you know. I stumbled upon the glory that is MO and resale DVC, and you saved me $$$$ on my resale contract. My DH and I left for a cruise a few weeks ago and had full intentions on buying direct-- didn't even know resale contracts existed!

Lo and behold, for $12,000 less than what Disney offered, we got a contract approved for 150 SSR points at $60/point. We were able to fund the purchase our own and didn't have to finance (which we would have with Disney).

I owe you guys tons of thanks for your input and knowledge in helping shape our purchasing decision (which we're very happy about!).

Looking forward to getting to know you guys more through discussion on the boards.
