Bonaire Trip Report
Ladies and gentlemen, vacation has officially begun.
Bamboo Bali is 100% amazing. I made the right choice.

When we arrived this was hanging above the door to our villa.
 Let me just say, this resort is exactly what I hoped for. It's beautiful, natural and the detail is amazing. I've already taken a bunch of photos. But right now, I'm posting the porch. Because it's cocktail hour. And this is where cocktail hour will be held.

I have fallen completely and utterly in love with this island. Tomorrow the diving starts. Today after all the travel we were dead tired. We walked to RumRunners at Captain Don's Habitat for dinner. My expectations were low. Busy, very commercial dive hotel. But, we were going for convenience and we walked.
I had the daily special- wahoo with a pineapple and chili relish. It was to. die. for. OMG. It was fabulous. Angus had an Asian dish with fish and fresh shrimp, it was huge and he also said that was delicious. Total bill was $43.00. Did I mention we at our dinner with a beautiful Caribbean view, iguanas sunning themselves only feet away? From our vantage ( 20 feet above the water ) we could see tarpan, French angels, and parrot fish. The water here is stunning. We were bummed we didn't carry the camera to dinner, but we'll probably eat there again tomorrow so those pictures will be upcoming. Today's pictures will be Bamboo Bali. I am in paradise.
