Posts on another board are reporting that DVC is now allowing 25 pt. contracts to be purchased at BLT....new it wouldn't last too long.

Yep, I called to speak to my Guide and he is on the cruise right now. But I managed to speak to another Guide and he confirmed that yes, you can add on 25 points, no incentive, so $112 per point, and cash only.

And you can do two 25 point contracts and finance.

I asked if this was going to be available for a while, and he said that he didn't anticipate it going away any time soon.

And this Guide said he had just gotten the e-mail about this late this afternoon.

Default Blt

This sucks. I bought a 25 pointer on Jan 15 the thinking I would have something special. Ouch.

They aren't exactly wowing us with their keen grasp of the situation.

Thanks, HauntedPirate. I am happy for myself, since I just became a member through resale and wanted to do a small BLT add on. Thought I'd missed my chance. But I can certainly understand those who bought earlier than they'd planned because of the January rule change being upset! If this is all true, they've changed their minds after just a month? Geez. Doesn't inspire much confidence.

Is it really as high as $112 now?

I realize this is a bumped up old thread but I found this incredibly humerous given today's prices!

Can you say resale?
Sure, I knew you could.

After talking about it...I had to go find my contract I did not execute...

It was for $112 a point with $16 per point discount if buying more than 100 points and an existing owner....
