Disney made darned sure we got our dues statement *right on time*!!

But have we received our resort budget yet? Of course not! :headbange

Sometimes, they really do burn my bum like a flame about two and half feet high....

We actually haven't received our dues statement yet. I'm not worried because I know I can pay them online now...but if I didn't come to this message board (Thanks everyone!) I probably wouldn't have known that.

I don't know why, but we never seem to get any mail from Disney or DVC in a timely manner. We always get the DVC offers and special announcements after the dates have already past. I called them about it a few times, they said they would fix it and nothing has changed.

DCL is even worse! I get absolutely nothing from them, including the welcome home cd you're supposed to get. What really annoyed me (and kind of shocked me) was a few weeks ago, I got DCL mail addressed to my father at my house! He has never lived here, never used my address, we have different last names I have never made travel plans for him through DCL! We never got the mailing that he did either.

I sooooooooo hear your pain! I still don't have a budget or dues statement, nor have I received the form to request monthly payments even though I have called four times.

I finally gave up and paid online, but imagine if we didn't have this type of shared information - how would you know if the listed amount was correct?

And yes, DVC knows how to find me - there is at least one piece of mail a week from them in my mailbox, and often I have 'overflow' mail from them because it's so much.

Ditto - we've only gotten the budget for OKW, not for SSR, and no dues bill yet. It's the 6th! I seem to never get anything on time..... I live in FL for heavens sake! I keep seeing these postings by people in the UK saying they've gotten all of their mailings already..... where's the logic here?

Okay, help me here, as this is our first year to do this.

We have gotten nothing, nada, zilch. When do I call them to check (and how was I supposed to know to do that if I wasn't on this board, hmmm?)? When is it due?

And, increasingly important in my mind, since I've gotten nothing yet, if you are late paying your dues, do they cancel your existing reservations? I know they have a grace period, but does it include the reservations? Do they tell you you're in your grace period?

It's like an uncertain date in high school - will they call? Will I ever hear from them again?

Sorry, flashback.

Payment is due by January 15th with a grace period to February 15th with no penalty. Here's what happens after 2/15:

Late payments can impact your ability to make reservations and to bank and borrow Vacation Points. Any payment that is overdue, including but not limited to Annual Dues, Loans (if applicable), Member Getaways transaction fees and balances from Disney Vacation Club Resort stays, prohibits banking and borrowing of Vacation Points. In addition, if you are more than 90 days past due on your Annual Dues, this will cause a suspension of all activities, including the cancellation of any existing reservations. So please take note - to make the best use of your Membership, be sure to keep your account up to date!

Any payments received after the "Past Due After" date will be subject to late fees in the amount of $25.00 per contract plus interest at the maximum rate permitted by applicable law accrued from the original "Payment Due" date. To avoid these late charges, please allow at least 7 days mailing time.

Any payments that are returned by your bank will have a non-sufficient funds fee of $20.00 charged to your account.
