ToT Map Update(as of 8/9)

I just recieved an email from Disney that stated the race will start in the parking lot of MGM.

BTW, they state the course map will be on the website soon. Yea right :(

What happened to staarting at ToT? :( I don't know how they planned to do it, but it sounded much cooler.

Now they are going to have to block part of the parking lot to give us a staging area. I wanted to be in MGM for both start/finish:mad:

Well that is weird since I read somewhere that none of the race would be viewable without getting a party ticket. This would make the start/finish viewable. Unless they had some complaints.

I have read all along that the finish is at ToT. Now we just know where the start is.

With the finish in MGM, you have to buy a ticket to the party to see the runners finish.

Maybe they will bring the runners in the back way from path to Fantasmic so there isn't a huge log jam of people. Can you imagine everyone finishing off at ToT if you are going down the street facing it? There just doesn't seem like there would be enough room!

All I know is that I am excited for my first race :)

My guess is we'll finish behind it on teh backstage road. MAybe reverse the way tehmarathon goes through it. Guess we'llhave to wait and see.

I just received this from Disney???

The course map will be posted in September.

We have been working through some road construction issues that caused a course modification.

The 6.5K will be sold out by this weekend and the 13K in about a week.
