DVC now has point charts on the member website for stays at Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland.
Point requirements start at 34 per night for Hong Kong and 44 per night for Tokyo.
That is a miserably long flight, especially for us east coasters! Would only do it if I did two weeks -- one in Hong Kong, one in Japan and a single jump over and back.

It has been a dream of mine to go to Tokyo Disneyland ever since Tokyo DisneySea. But between the long flights, the points required and cost of the flights:faint: I dopn't know if I'll ever make it there.
What we need is a tour the world Disney cruise with multi-night stops at each Disney park.

We are so there. :) Tokyo DisneySea is too cool to miss out on. That'll be our 2008 vacation. A week in Japan at least. Maybe also Hong Kong, but we'll see.

And, if I remember correctly, tickets are included with your stays at the Hong Kong resort.

Was speaking with a DVC Guide last week, and he said this was true for Tokyo as well. I haven't had the chance to check yet to verify this.
There are several carriers with non-stop flights from EWR and JFK. It's about 15 hrs. straight shot to HK. Depending on time of year, the flights get pretty reasonable here and there. :goodvibes

That would be nice if it turns out that way. It's been my understanding that tickets are included with Paris and Hong Kong but not Tokyo.

That's my understanding, too. And I think our guide said as much.
I guess the gentleman I spoke to was "mis-guided." :)
I know that Tokyo runs differently overall since the ownership is different, which is why I wanted to verify. Thanks for doing so! Not that Tokyo was on the plan for this year anyway....but a woman can dream...:sunny:

While you're dreaming, can you please dream me the winning lottery numbers? THank you in advance. ;)
