While we were at the BC last May we went to Hurricane Hannahs and I had a delicious drink called a Stormalong. I would love to try to recreate it for New Years Eve :birhdaypa. Anyone have any idea what is in it?

Or do you have any suggestions on what your favorite mixed drink :margarita is down in the World that I can try to make at home for a little Disney magic here up north? :)

Hey there! Can't believe you haven't gotten a response yet - I've been curious! I do have a Disney cookbook with recipes from the parks - including drinks. Here's what it has - if any interest you, I can PM you the recipe!

Gin Fizz (Rose & Crown Pub)
Laguna Spray (Contemporary)
Margarita(San Angel Inn)
Matsu (Mitsukoshi at Japan)
Monorail Pink (Contemporary)
Maonorail Red (Contemporary)
Monorail Yellow (Contemporary)
Pina Colada (Contemporary)
Pink Leilani (Poly)
Smooth Sailing (Poly)
Strawberry Margarita (Contemporary)
Sun Kissed Margarita (Contemporary)
Tangaroa Teaser (Poly)

Hope this helps!!!

WOW! AFMom!!! What a great list! :) It would be tough to choose! I think I am going to give a call down and see if I can get the recipe for the Stormalong. They are sooooo good!

I have in the past asked for 2 recipes from the World one for the Cindys Breakfast potatos. Chef sent me the recipe on Cinderellas Royal Table letterhead paper! Very cool framed in the kitchen. And just recently the chef at Olivias hand wrote the recipe for the Shrimp and artichoke dip for chip126.

Thank you! :)

Yep - the City Hall at DL in CA will do the same - not for all of the recipes, but some of them! Maybe they can fax it to you so you'll have it in time. Hey - if you get it - post it! If it's that good I want to try it too!

Just spoke with a Jason at Hurricane Hannahs. I asked if they were busy and that I would call back. No problem and gave me the recipe for the Stormalong.

Amaretto
Khalua (sp)
Baileys
Pina Colada Mix that you would find in the grocery store

He said fill the blender (reg. size) about 1/2 way with ice. Add about 1/2 to 3/4 oz of each of the first three then cover ice with the Pina Colada mix and blend.

He was sooo sweet! Wished me Happy New Year and enjoy!

So party at jiggerj's tomarrow nite! :)

LOL!! Getting slippery here too, just started to snow:mad:
I was gonna make fancy drinks tonight too, but my plans changed so I am actually celebrating tomorrow (I little backwards, I know) .
Well, if it makes you feel better about making a recipe from the BC where you don't own, I heard about some African liquor that they makes drinks with at the AKL, and that's what I'm hacing tonight-I think it's called Amarula liquor.
