BWV Request

Has anyone ever made a request at the Boardwalk like "as close to MGM as possible"?

Last time we stayed in a Standard View room we were all the way down on the end behind Jellyrolls. It was about the furthest distance possible from the lobby, self-parking and MGM. I'd much rather be toward the end of the other wing. It would still be a long way from the lobby, but a stairwell should give us easy access to MGM (our most-frequented park) and the self-parking lot.

Will the above request properly communicate what I'm trying to accomplish?

Maybe Quiet Pool View would achieve a room closer to MGM? If you are on standard view, I am not familiar enough with all the std view rooms to help out more. If on premium view then I think a Quiet Pool View request would help

I think all of the quiet pool rooms are Preferred View. We have Standard View. As far as I know, there should be SV rooms all the way to the end of the resort. My understanding is that the SV rooms point toward the main entrance while the PF are on the pool side.

I'll have to call Member Services and see if they have any recommendations on wording the request.

If I'm picturing the layout of BWV correctly, what I think you are asking for is to be ALLLLL the WAYYYYYY DOWNNNNN the HALLLLLLL.......

I think MS would be relieved to have someone ask for this location since many guests will throw a hissy fit when they realize what they've gotten.

Of course, being ex Navy, my thought process is a little different. I feel the best way to not get The Dumpster View at VWL is to request it.

ask to be in standard view as close to the parking lot as possible or the bus stop.

this is a great area to be in - you are close to the parking lot and there is a little stream at this end of the BWV.

remember your fastest in and out is the exit door. So if they put you on a higher floor you will need to find the closest steps. (I don't think there are any really close to this door)
