SSR Spa Transportation

Any suggestions on getting from the Boardwalk to Saratoga Springs for a spa treatment?

I'm considering scheduling a spa visit as a surprise for my wife while I watch the kids for a few hours. I'm not yet certain if we will have a rental car for the entire trip. I'm not crazy about making her do the BW-to-DTD bus thing with a walk over to SSR. As unreliable as the busses can be, she'd probably have to leave 90 minutes ahead of time to be certain she will make the appointment.

Is it possible to catch a cab at the Boardwalk? Do you have to call to get one or do cabs just hang out in that area waiting for fares? Any idea the cost to go about 2 miles to SSR?

Just go to the front of any hotel. Usually there's one or more just waiting there, but if not, Bell Services will call one for you. It should cost about $10-12 plus tip.

Catching a taxi at BWV/BWI is easy - there is almost always at least 1 there waiting

To be safe call down to valet parking/bellhop before you leave the room

If she's in the mood to walk (and it wouldn't waste a day on a ticket) she could cut through Epcot and catch a bus to SSR too.

I thought I read somewhere that the resorts offer complimentary transportation for golfers to the various courses. If this is true, wouldn't they offer the same service for the spas ?
