You didn't vote. Now I've given myself away. ;)

I was 32 when we bought in. Wish we had done it 6 years before fro our honeymoon, but we aasuemd it was wayy pricey. Then again, it was still likely a bit steep fro us then.

i guess for me and my family its like we are young and we could really use it for our dd now and in the future with more kids but its like should we join something when we are young (ill be 25 on sunday) and stick with this ? or should we really wait till we are set in our ways.. hope i'm making sense i tend to not make sense and no one can understand what i'm saying:violinist
lol

lol well we arent owners yet but when we go down i think we will be SERIOUSLY thinking about it. but then its like we dont own our own home , we rent right now ...would it be stupid of us to get into that when we dont even own a house or in the process of doing it?? i guess i'm really showing my age =( but i hope you take me seriously

I was 33! Couldn't have afforded it any sooner.

DL1012 - It's all about priorities. The part of me that hears my account mom's voice in my head says you should wait until you own a home. However, if you plan to go anyway, buy DVC. In the long run, if you go every year to every other year, you will kick yourself for not doing it sooner. JMO.

I don't like the choices. I wasn't 35 and I wasn't 40.

I bought in Nov of '97, was 38.

I was 52. We were down there with our Dgd, took the tour, seen her eyes
light up and we bought that day. Wish we had done it years sooner.

I was 32 and Lisa was 29 when we bought in 01 but we really really wanted to buy in 98 and if we had then I would have been 29 and Lisa would have been 26

I was 41. For an SSR contract and no kids, it makes really want to see an Assisted Living DVC for about the last 5 years of the contract . . .

i was 36, dh was 29 :) in 2003 when we bought our first contract at BWV.

we both worked, owned our own home, and carried no debt other than the house and one car. we would not have bought unless we could afford it easily (we paid cash).

My hubby and I are both 39. Oh how I wish we could have afforded it when we first looked at it, but we only went every two or three years back then. We have been going every year since 05' and I went twice last year and am going twice this year.:kickingco

I rounded down. I was mid 30's and bought DVC as a reward for myself when I got the dream job I had been eyeing for 8 years or so :ROTFL: (after waiting that long I needed a decent reward!)

Darn, I hadn't paid attention to the actual ages in the survey, I will now take the same opportunity as Bavaria and round down to 30! Always exercise your right to round down on your age whenever possible!!!!:jumpingbe
