Day 983 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. B * stards! There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs. I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe - for now....

Well I think I would have to say "all of the above"...except maybe a people person. I'll take any animal over some people any day! :ROTFL:

I am a people person LOL. I am very very allergic to feathers and fur so no birds cats or dogs in our house we do have a lizzard though that we all love. We have a bearded dragon named Pancake.

I'm basically a cat person. But during my lifetime I've had dogs, fish, birds, snakes, and lizards.

Back in 1995 I got a newsletter from my vet. I still have that newsletter today. On the back page it say:

A dog observed its owner providing him with food, cleaning up after him, taking him to the vet, and providing a generally satisfying lifestyle. The dog thought, "This person must be a god..."

A cat, on making these same observations though, "I must be a god..."

You got that right!! I am almost anti-people. I think the internet was created for people like me who like to avoid social situations at all costs on days off. :jleave:

I'm a cat person; but more specifically, a Siamese Cat person.

I love dogs, but don't have the right hours or vacation schedule to keep a dog.

Definitely a doggie person.

Way too allergic to cats. We had one for years before first child was born and had a lot of issues.

For some reason dog fur doesn't set us off, thank goodness.

I love cats! More specifically Maine Coon Cats like my precious baby Winston. Coons are wonderful cats - a peculiar blend of a cat and dog personality traits.

I can't be around most dogs as dog smell is an asthma trigger for me. Not an allergy - but smells (perfumes, fumes, strong smells) are triggers and dog odor is one of the worst!
