I'm not sure where to post this, but;

If you purchased a contract via the Resale market- you will not be able to view/print off or pay your annual dues on line.

Disney is aware of the problem, and working to address it.

{but don't expect to be able to do so for dues, due by this Jan.}

I bet it never crossed their mind when they were designing the system.

Hope they get it worked out soon!

Good to know. When should I expect to get something from Disney about dues? I haven't seen anything yet, and didn't know if I should call my guide.

Two more questions:

How do you get them to switch it to a monthly thing?

What happens if you are behind in your dues? Do they cancel your reservations? I have no intention of being late, but since they mention that they have a month's grace period, I wondered what the policy was.

FYI - You can't pay with your rewards card online either. :(

jnrrt- I think you just call MS - Accounting.

I'm in the same boat, and I haven't received a dues statement either.

When I called on going monthly (big deal on my piddly contract!) they told me that they would send a form. After 3 calls they said just fax a cancelled cheque. That doesn't seem very official to me so I haven't done so yet.....

Just checked, and convert is right. I can pay the dues for my add-on online, but can't view, much less pay for, the dues for my resale online.

Oh bother. :hammer:

Do you mean "recent" resales can't be viewed?

I can view all of my resales online without any problem, but they were purchased over a year ago. All transaction details are there including recently completed and future existing reservations.

I can see my transactions (even for the resale), but not the dues statement/bill. And our resale was purchased over a year and a half ago...

Not sure what problem you had but I bought a resale contract and can pay my dues on line.

Just my luck, went to check our annual dues amount online and get:

"We are currently unable to access your Disney Vacation Club Membership information while we perform scheduled system activities. "

Maybe they are working on the resale problem now :)

I just checked and it says that my resale contract requires attention and I cannot view my dues.

Mine says the same, but since we're set up on a draft, I'm assuming they'll make adjustments to the amount they'll draft.

It was cool being able to see the points/vacation history. Kinda freaked me out b/c we waitlisted for a couple nights at HHI and had 3 different ressies....was afraid we'd have to check out/check in 3 times but the ressies are linked.

I notice not only does it say dues but loan payments as well. But it looks as if they aren't quite set up for loan payments just yet, only the wording is there. That is a step in the right direction since I will be paying an extra on my loan every month.

I also notice that when you pay the dues it has to be the entire amount if you do it online, not the monthly payments or portions.

I hope they do come out with that capability sometime.

The contracts I purchased directly are all there, but my resale contracts instruct me to call Member Accounting.

So ... I call Member Accounting today. I have always paid my annual fees by autodebit, so I was concerned about the "contact Member Accounting" thing. EVerything is fine, ny autodebit is still set up. The CM told me that the website still has some glitches to clean up and resale dues are one of the issues they are still working on.

I can view all reservations, point totals, all contract transactions and fees due on my direct-from-DVC contracts (even though they are also autodebit). The only thing not viewable at this time are the annual fees on the resale contracts - and those are also set up for autodebit.

If your online information can't be read, I wouldn't worry too much at this point, but a quick call to Accounting will clear up any issues and set you mind at ease.

Loan payments are a future feature for the site.

At this time annual maintenance fees and online contract info are available, but more features are expected by the end of 2006. I expect that dues payment by autodebit will always require a call to MS- at least for awhile and I don't expect to be able to make monthly dues payments except by autodebit- only in lump-sum payment. That is available now for all directly purchased contracts and should be soon for resales also.
