I received our confirmation in the mail yesterday for our November trip. I reserved a 2BR with 2 Queens and confirmed it every day I called but on the confirmation it only states a 2BR...nothing about 2Q's. Is that a problem?

I'd hate to call them and ask again to confirm it since I'm pretty sure MS is starting to get busy with Thanksgiving time ressies this week. Yes, I admit it, DH is right, I'm one of those people that is too nice and hate to bother other people. :goodvibes

Apparently, the lock-off vs. dedicated category no longer appears on written confirmations.

I had the same question on my last ressie, which was made well over a year ago. Nothing appeared: it just said "2 BR." Yet, when I called, they clearly had it down as a lock-off (which is what I wanted). The woman told me that they code it a certain way in their system, but it no longer appears in the written confirmation, which I think, personally, is really stupid.

For your ease of mind, I'd call anyway. And while you're on the phone, you might suggest (as I did), that they re-insert the lock-off vs. dedicated designation, since it would save people the time and trouble of calling about (not to mention MS the time and trouble of answering) questions that they might not really have to answer.

My $.25, in the hectic week before Xmas. :hammer:

Stimpy...

I had the same thing happen to me for my May '06 ressie.
I called MS and they had it ..right and said it is not shown on the confirmation.. DUH:hypnotict

Deep-Thots... I mentioned the same thing..certainly not streamlined..but..guess its job security for the CM's!

I just wanted to add that it's probably worth re-confirming the 2b/2q before leaving the front desk of the resort. I've heard more than one person complain that they were booked into a 2q room only to find themselves with the bed/sofa combo upon arrival. My guess is that some rookie BC CMs may not understand the distinction and assign any old 2b upon arrival.

You're money, your vacation. I'd be calling to confirm it all! My first visit as a DVC, didn't get a single request I put in, most importantly, the nonsmoking room (I'm a medical necessity no smoking person). Better to get it taken care of now vs traveling all day long, being so tired and having to deal with it at check in.
