So far this isn't an official event, but it could be. When I come to the meet in December, I'm going to eat at Kona's for the first time, mostly due to lots of positive recommendations from here. Although eating solo isn't bad, does anyone(s) want to join me? We could pick a mutually agreeable time, so far it looks like lunchtime Sunday, Monday (although Chef Mickey's is at 5:00), or Tuesday (pending time of the DVC meeting) are possible; or dinner on Sunday or Tuesday (early). Anyone want to join me? Any time preferrence?

I like Kona's. So far I'm coming alone in December, so it's a possibility and might depend on if someone joins me for part of the trip, whether or not I do the DDP etc. So this is a positive maybe LOL! I'm going in October with my sister for food and wine...and to be honest, whatever we don't do then might be what I decide to do in December, IYKWIM.

Doug and I would be willing to join you if you make it breakfast instead.

Breakfast? Is this the home of the famous toast?

Maybe Ron and I will tag along.

Yes, Kona Cafe is the home of Tonga Toast--a thick slice of sourdough bread stuffed with a banana, deep fried, and rolled in cinnamon sugar.

:scratchch Hmmm, I don't know about this one. Eating is not an activity we normally engage in. But perhaps on this trip we could make an exception. :hehehehe: We will happily join you if we can find a good time.
