I use my iPod while on the treadmill and eliptical and when I take off the headphones, the foam pieces are a little "sweaty" to say the least. Is there anything you can use to spray on them to make keep the smell at bay and keep them a little clean that won't hurt the foam? Hubby uses the kind that fit in your ear (which I don't like), so he doesn't have that problem.
