Now the question becomes do we move to HHI? or stay at WDW but switch to BCV? or just add a couple of days at Vero.....

When are you going in AUgust?

We are BWV owners too, and normally, I do book the 11 mos out ressie, then switch it at 7 mos as needed, but we're planning to stay at OKW for our Aug 2006 trip, and I didn't feel like having to mess with the points math since OKW is a lower pts schedule and we are borrowing pts for the stay anyway!

We are hoping to stay over at US/IOA hotel for 3-4 nights in early Aug (like, the 9th-12th) and are then looking at moving to the "Disney" side of life around the week of August 13-20 for our OKW stay. We like August -- it suits our pools / water-park crazy family pretty well, and the crowds aren't as bad as, say, June/July!

We did HHI this summer in AUgust - we really enjoyed it and our weather was pretty good, but they told us that the week before we came was a real beast - super hot and humid! And the summer before last, we were in Orlando in August in our BWV 2br for Hurricane Charley. One thing I can attest to - those villas were built to last! :)

I am figuring out 2006 vacations myself. Next month I will be booking BWV standard view for pre and post DVC cruise..

I think I might book the Luau for that trip...

We have our January and March trips booked, but I need to book my early Dec. trip while we are there in January! I really hate having to do that on vacation, since I worry about forgetting!

Oh , decisions , decisions ........ aug. is really hot in wdw and is busy because everyone wants to get in a last min. vacation. so, it depends are you planning on going to parks? Have you been to HHI ? Have you been to VB? BCV is a great resort to stay at if you are not really going to parks, you can also save money on water parks by just hanging out at the SAB.

I have not been to HHI but i think i would like to go when it is just a little cooler then like either fall or spring.

I would choose half my trip staying at BCV and then VB

just keep in mind there is not much to do in VB except swim, beach,eat,golf,walmart,LOL.

i would do BCV because all the excitement of being in wdw and the hustle and bustle then VB to relax, if you do the opposite, you may just keep counting down the days until your at the BCV and you wont enjoy VB

what ever your decisions , i am sure you really cant go wrong....Have a great trip :beaniepro

I'd do BCV and spend a lot of time at the pool and beaches and cream cuz its gonna be scorchin! :bluebloun :sunny:

I just made our reservations this morning for HHI in June. It will be our first time in a 1 bedroom. We are taking my DS,DDIL & DGS. Can't wait.

So far the only vacation in 06 I have booked is 3 nights at HHI during the first week in April.

I am pretty sure I will be 5 nights at the Cont Tower next year. I think I have until Jan to decide for sure.
