Dining plan for DVC question

Thanks to the DVC Boards, I learned that the dining plan will soon be available to DVC members. When do we have to add that on to our reservationif we decide to do it? Do I have to tell them when I make our DVC accomodation ressies? Do I have a certain time limit? Or am I able to add it on when we check in? Thanks!

Sorry, I can't help you with this one, but I was wondering the same thing. Since it's new, I wonder what the policy is, especially if people are wanting to add it to existing reservations.

Hopefully we will find out more in the new monthly email newsletter they will put out in January.

I guess we can start booking it in January for stays starting in April.

I have read that you can't add it when you show up, but I am not sure if you have to do it when you make reservations or can add it later.

I have also read that they don't charge you for it right away, just take a cc hold.

I am curious to see if it can be used if you are staying on points at non-DVC resorts.
