If available, would you consider saturday hours of service at Member Services a help to you?

I voted yes because I leave for work before they are open, and get home after they close, w/the exception of Thursdays, but even then, I'd only have a half hour. I did make my 10/06 ressies from my desk at work this past Wednesday but I wasn't entirely comfortable w/everyone listening to me to it. I heard smirks, just jealous, I'm sure.

I can see it being a great convinience - but I really don't want to pay for it!!

I voted yes. Being on the west coast, it can be a pain to get through to MS. I'm holding out hope for online booking. :fingerscr

I would rather they were open on Saturdays and closed one weekday.

For me, Saturday would be bad. If I'm not by my work pc, I forget any calls I need to make.

Nope Saturday is useless around our house. oldest DD has powercheer and piano lessons and the other 2 have gymnastics and skating. I work many saturdays and during the week I am 3-11 so I have no problems getting ahold of MS during the week.

I voted unsure at this point. Normally I wouldn't use it. I am home to make reservations anytime M-F but just my luck one of these days I will desperatly need to utilize them on a Saturday.

However I like the previous posters idea about being closed one day a week and being available on Saturday. That would work for Saturday people who need it and also make it so our dues are raised to high.

Generally, weekday hours are fine for me. It's not a problem for me to call M-F, so I probably wouldn't use Saturday hours. I would like to see Saturday hours for those who can make use of it though since I realize it's not always easy for everyone to contact MS during the week ( work hours, time zone differences, etc... ) Maybe they can close early one or two days during the week to pay for the extra time on Saturday.

If they did Saturday hours, I would consider it a convenience rather than a necessity. I, too, have found myself sitting in my recliner on Friday night finally firming-up plans for a future trip. Then comes the realization that I won't know if I can get what I want for almost 3 days.

In the spirit of fairness, I'd almost rather see them do another late night before Saturday hours. I do feel sympathy for our west coast bretheren (and those abroad) who have to play by east coast hours. Adding something like 9am - 1pm on Saturday doesn't seem nearly as beneficial as staying open until 9pm ET another day of the week.

I agree another later evening would likeley be far more beneficial to many than having a 4 hour window on a Saturday.

I would find it helpful, but would not want dues increased in order to have it.

Monday is already the busiest call days.

So they can't eliminated Monday. so that means that MS can't have two off days together if DVC did this. I don't think that is fair!!!!

I think everyone should have 2 days together to be off....

this is my opinion!

But the reason Monday is busiest is that there are two days off preceding it... so whenever the two days off are, the following day will always be the busiest. You have three days worth of people whose windows have just opened.

So that's not a good reason not to give them Sunday and Monday off instead of Saturday and Sunday.

But, if they got Sunday and Monday off, Tuesday would be busy. I think that you sumarized the whole problem pp. Any time MS takes 2 days in a row off, there's going to be a backlog. I'm with Spicey. People need 2 days in a row off, although many do not get it. Then again, I would have a hard time calling them on a weekend anyway.

In one regard, I would enjoy the extended hours but really don't need them.

On the other hand really don't want them to happen because I enjoy having the weekend off when I am calling day-by-day for a reservation!! :upsidedow
