We have only been to WDW once during this time of year and it was 1999/2000 pre-DVC, so I'm not sure I can really judge.
I'm trying to figure out when we should go next year. (Given the school calendar this will be an excellent time for us to go.) We have the possibility of anywhere from 12/30 to departing the 8th. I'm hesitant about that Saturday in points, think it would be DVC bad to arrive on Sunday, the 31st?
I'm also not sure my girls will be up to staying out very late on NYE... When does it truly slow down? Should we arrive on the 1st? Think we'll have a really poor chance of rooms if we check in that day or are most people leaving?
