I heard that they are going up earlier and earlier every year. Do you think they will be up for our trip in November (4-11) 2006? We love going in early December but we have to work around DS's school schedule now :( He'll have 2 days off that week. Thanks!

You will definitely see some decorations during that period. While they come down fairly fast (in just one or two nights, if memory serves), it takes a couple of weeks to get all of the parks and resorts decorated at the start of the season. They start working pretty much right after Halloween.

I'm guessing that by the time you leave on the 11th, the entire resort may well be all decked-out for the holidays. You will certainly see things "magically" appearing around the property as your trip progresses.

the parks seem to get their decorations starting very early in Nov. We were at Animal Kingdom Nov 1, and the tree was already up. Magic Kingdom got its decorations just a few days later. Epcot and MGM might not have gotten their decorations until the next week. When we left on 11/12, the Boardwalk Inn did not yet have its decorations up.

Our last Dec trip we asked abot this and the CM we spoke to said all the decorations were completed and up for T giving weekend in the US but they start going up a week or so earlier.

They definitely start going up earlier than a week before Thanksgiving.
