View Full Version : Bizarre phone call from DVC

Yesterday on my caller Id I saw "Disney Vacation Club". I called my guide and she said that she did not call. I gave her the number and she said that the number was from marketing. Shes searching around on who had called but so far no luck. I think shes curious now herself. She had one more person to contact and that was the person that was in charge of the Merry Mixer. Hmmmm...the only thing I can think of (and hoping) is maybe about the raffle drawing at the Mixer. :) I thought they would have contacted the winner while there? Any thoughts?

Hmm, maybe?? You will have to let us know.

I don't know when they did the drawing but we left the very next day so maybe they do it after.

How wonderful would that be!! You would think they would leave a message though.

Perhaps the winner of the basket couldn't properly fulfill his/her duty to represent DVC in a wholesome manner throughout 2006, thus the prize defaulted to the first runner-up....you!

Received another phone call from the same number and this time I was home to answer. It was not as exciting as winning the basket (bummer!) but it was the tech. people to fix the website glitch of updating my profile. Happy that it has been corrected but definately not as happy as I would have been if I had won the basket! :)

Hey girlfriend, glad you were able to solve that mystery! Yeah, too bad it wasn't a call to say you won that prize! I didn't win it either. At least I didn't have to worry about how I was gonna get it home in my already jam packed suitcase.:hyper:

Bummer but at least they did get the glitch fixed :)
