The Offical Check in for DVC Members Cruise

LIFERBABE & I are booked in cat 9, early dinner. We are staying at SOG the sat. before the cruise and BWV thur. night after the cruise as of now.:goodvibes We are hoping to go to Epcot for the food & Wine fest.

We got cat 9's as well--we are on deck 2. Only 3 sons with me on this vacation since my oldest will be in his first year of college.
Its our first cruise so Im excited and nervous at the same time. Im not normally motion sick but I cant help but worry about it.

Coleen and I are on deck 7 forward. We had a BLAST on this years DVC cruise and are really looking forward to the next one!

Does anyone know how fast this cruise sold out? It seems to me it filled up very quickly!

It sold out the same day--Dec 3, I want to say by around 4pm that day it was all sold.

But I have heard of people getting lucky on the waitlist so if you are interested I would think you still had a good chance of getting on.

Deena, I get really motion sick, too - like I can't turn around in a car, sit in the backseat or read anything kind of sick. :scary:

I got the patch to take and thank goodness - we had some rocky waters. (Last night the hangers in the closet were banging against each other!) There were a couple times I thought I felt really iffy and if I didn't have that patch on I would have hurled for sure.

I kept the patch on for the ride home and when we got back and I took it off I almost immediately felt like I was walking on a rocking boat. Lasted for about a day.

I'd say go for it - just make sure to get the patch! I think it really kept me from being sick the whole trip. I'd do another cruise as long as I had the patch. They really work miracles!

(Note your mouth will feel like you have a wad of cotton balls inside it. :tongue: )

Deena - My dh gets motion sick very easily as well. The patch allowed him to not only cruise easliy, he did Space Mountain, by accident, too. We had 25-foot waves the last day of our cruise and they did not bother him either. Highly recommend the patch.

As for me, I was fine with nothin. COuld not finish my dessert with the 25-foot waves, but that was about it. The problem is that you need to take something beforeyou start to feeel sick. SO, if you're worried, just take something.
