For those of you headed to the Food and Wine festival, where will your first stop be? Anything specific you are craving from years past? Any particular country have the "best" fair in your opinion?

I wish I could be there celebrating with you all - but let me live a little "through" you.

Get my taste buds tingling! :D

Lat year there was a station with "peach" wine. It was on the FS side of Canada.

Peach Wine sounds nice. Last year, I enjoued the Mango Mamma wine from the Florida booth. That might be my first stop this year.

I'm crushed! I would expect your first stop to be at Innoventions to send a post to us telling us how much fun it would be if we were with you! :p

Enjoy yourselves. Personally I'm waiting for the Yuengling and Chocolate Doughnut Fest.

Do they serve YL at WDW?....got to get some..btw, how much YL will a studio fridge hold?

Ah but the question was what would be the first stop at the Food & Wine Festival. Innoventions isn't part of the Food & Wine Festival.

For some reason, people say I should be a political spin doctor. :D

Ice Wine is tasty.

If we are staying at the BWV or BCV we start with England and work our way around. So England is our first stop. Canada and it's ice wine is our LONGEST stop... I like to engage in 3 or 4 glasses of that, before moving on.... which primes me for the Fiesta Magarita in Mexico.....

Ok.... we are tacking of a few days at WDW after the member cruise! I need my F&W fix!

From years past, I recall these goodies as things I've sought after:

the watermelon drink in mexico
perogies in poland
poached salmon with a cucumber/dill sauce in norway
Beef stroanoff in russia (which I hear is not being offered this year :( )

But honestly, I've never met a Food festival I didn't like! :bouncingg

Ice Wine, the watermelon drink in mexico and the poached salmon with a cucumber/dill sauce in norway I will want to be trying. Good thing for the Boardwalk I will be rolling home!

We'll be arriving on Nov. 5th for our first stay at the BCV for F&W. We love the festival and make sure we are at the ropes at 11:00 and start at Mexico. We eat our way around the Countries for lunch trying so many of the kiosks. Pierogies, crab cakes, New England clam chowder, sparkling pink champagne, yummy desserts are just a few things that come to mind. Delicious!!!

My favorite stand was Morocco. They had hummus and pistachio baklava that was awesome!! The Meatball at Scandinavia was good too. The Lemon Lager at Puerto Rico was also nice.

Overall, I was not really all that impressed with the F&WF. Maybe because it was too hot to drink alcohol really or maybe it was because I like to sit and enjoy my food which was hard to do or maybe it was the small portions of food for the price (or maybe all of the above LOL!! ).

This was not something that I would hurry back to.
