Trip report part 3

Sorry this is taking so long-my 1st try and all
Anyway
Thursday-very busy day. Had breakfast in the room, had to be to Epcot for 8:45 for the Hidden Treasures tour. I enjoyed it, I took the tour in April w/dad, but Tammy really wanted to do it. By the time we got to take a break in Germany, I was calling all around trying to find the camera, but no. After the tour we had lunch ressies in Morocco. Yummy, yummy. Then headed over to the Merry Mixer, got to say hi to jiggerj briefly (more bad timing, we never got that group photo) hung out w/CB again and got to meet mattysgrandma (hope I spelled that right) and her husband, it was very nice to meet them, they are really nice people. After that we just poked around the countries until I was time for us to stake out a place for Illuminations, by then the temps had dropped and I was frozen, bought on of those ponchos in Mexico. Not very attractive, but I was warm! Did Soarin' and kinda just strolled around it was extra magic hours and we left about 12:30 am, what a long day!

Thanks for the great report Athenna, so sorry about your camera though! Coincidentally I will be meeting up with some of the folks you mentioned in May at BWV-- jiggerj, matysgrandma and cb. Can't wait!

Now I have to find some DVC-ers going the end of January! There is one possibility, but that person isnt sure at this time, no definite decision yet.

Hey girlfriend! :) That was fun running into you again at the mixer! I was surprised that we were able to recognize each other since the other time we were all soaked from our quick meet at MK for wishes! :) I feel bad that I wasn't able to hang out more with you and chat but when my little man (6 yrs) gets antsy...well gotta go! I am sure we will hook up again sometime! :)

Well, the good news is I found out the camera was NOT discontinued, just the company I bought it from doesn't sell it anymore. So I'm checking around, I know amazon still sells them. I'm just going to wait until after Christmas in case I get gift certificates or whatever. I don't need to rush, don't think I'll need a camera until my next trip anyway.

I wanted to go to the Merry Mixer when we were down, but that was our rain day. We sat on the Boardwalk contemplating it because the rain had let up, but thank goodness we didn't walk over because it started pouring about 15 minutes later.

Maybe next year!

I am jealous of all of you getting to meet! That is so cool but I never can seem to get my act together in time (should have met CB before she went home on this trip), but I can't wait to meet Carrie this weekend! :bluebloun
