Well, I've never done a trip report before, so bear w/me, and I'll try my best.
Cast:
Me- 34, not married, no kids, etc, just your normal obsessed WDW/DVC freak.
Best friend-Tammy, been best friends since we were 8, not married, no kids, and loves WDW but not obsessed in any way. It was her 4th trip there, but 1st since I've been DVC.
Sun-ME went very smoothly. Flew Song, great flight, no ear aches. Landed about noon and I was checked in to SSR by 1pm. I was very happy. Actually had my choice of 3 rooms. I wanted smoking (be kind, no flames, pardon the pun) 1) could've had a smoking room in the Paddock, but it was the very 1st building as you enter SSR, too far to my liking. 2) Congress Park (which I was hoping for)smoking but wouldn't be ready until 4pm. 3) Springs, non-smoking, but ready right away. I took that option, she said I could smoke on patio. Fine w/me.
So we walked around, ate, went to Stuidos for extra magic hours, no lines for wristbands. Tammy loved the Osbourne lights. Got Scott ( my other half) a great shirt there- he loves Goofy and it was him all tangled up in lights, and says make a Spectacle of yourself! He loved it! Had dinner at Prime Time-had no ressies, she said table for 2 no prob and waited maybe 3 minutes.
Luggage was there when we got back.
Mon-spent the am at the AK, no lines, saw the Christmas parade, bought ponchos for Kali, glad we did. Ate at Tusker house. Went back to change, then I was to meet up w/our very own Colorado Belle and Jiggerj for Spectro and Wishes. Me who is early for everything, had just missed a bus to go to MK and both the girls were calling to see where I was. SORRY LADIES!!!! By the time I got to them, WE WERE SOAKED. Pouring rain. I didn't see any of Spectro cause I was running up Main St in the rain. Sorry that I had such bad timing, didn't get to hang out w/Jiggerj much, but watched Wishes w/CB. Then, Tammy, myself, and CB took the monorail to the Poly for snacks and drinks at the Tambu and CB drove us back to SSR. We had a lot of fun and was so glad to meet CB!
