Well, in honor of my sports loving (watching not so much participating :hahahaha: ) DH, I was wondering if anyone was up for Sunday Night Football at ESPN? He was reading over our threads and noticed most of us really advanced planners are female and was wondering where the "boys" are!
Since there is no NFL schedule yet, I have no idea who is playing obviously! And yes, it is SUNDAY night, not Monday since that would collide with the Jellyrolls meet and DH is "stuck" going to that :cool2:
So is anyone interested? Of course the "girls" are more than welcome also! I love watching NFL with a group and a few cold ones too. :woohoo:

Football, the Stimpy's, and a few cold ones. The Rozzie's are so there!! Mr Roz would have had a fit to know Mr Stimpy got to go and he didn't! :p

Hmmm...funny you should mention that! DH & I were talking about the Football at ESPN last week and he was on the fence about it. I told him that Mr Rozzie was going to the MO meet now and Mr Stimpy jumped all over the ESPN thing! :lmbo:

Wanted to point out that ESPN doesn't broadcast Sunday night football anymore. Sunday night games are on NBC now since they moved the Monday night games to ESPN.
You might want to try and find out if they actually show the Sunday NBC games at the ESPN Club since it's a competing network. I know that football is huge and they have more than enough TVs for everything, but at the very least they may downplay the NBC game and relegate it to some of the smaller, hard to see screens.

Scott and I watched Sunday football at ESPN this past October, Tim.

Good Point Tim! Thanks, it is something I'll look into for this year. Hopefully, they still do it like they did in October for Athenna.
If not, how many people can fit in a studio again? :upsidedow

The NFL schedule is out! Looks like Dh will miss his beloved Giants who play at 4:30 that day. But there are those new flatscreens at the BW pool bar! :woohoo:
Looks like right now the Sunday night game is:
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh 8:15 pm
* Note: Sunday night games in Weeks 11-17 subject to change.

Thanks for the update Stimpy, now the only question is who I'll pull for. (leaning toward being a Bengal) This is going to be a fun night!!!!!

You do realize that actually having a place to sit in the Club on a football Sunday will require eating breakfast there. On Saturday.

Dh has nothing better to do :ROTFL: Besides, at this point it's only us & the Rozzies, we'll only need a tiny table....we can snuggle up real close.
We went to the Yankees/Mets game and the place was empty. I was really surprised.

Yeppers, it won't be a trip unless Stimpy and I get our "snuggle" time in. :Pssst:

If you and Stimpy promise to wear some low cut tops, I put a $20 on The Viking showing up!

I don't think that would be a problem.... :idontgeti
Honey, you go to the spa, Son you go to Disney Quest, Daddy will sit here watching sports, drinking beer, and eating Hot Wings for the next 48 hours.....:woohoo:
Sort of off topic, but does anyone know what happened to the rumor from a while ago that they were thinking of moving ESPN from the Boardwalk to DTD? Was there anything to that? Is that dead?
Thanks!

They still haven't found a big enough truck to move it.

:hahahaha: Yes, I can see that conversation already! Dh running towards ESPN as soon as we get to the resort....yelling the whole way "But Honey...I'm doing this for YOU!!!"
Not sure where the rumor stands now. I thought the ESPN club was staying and they were planning on turning Disney Quest into ESPN Zone (like in NYC) at one point. But I haven't heard anything about that in a while. Maybe if you post a seperate thread in the rumor board, someone could give you an update. :)
Hey Roz....if we plan this right, we'll have the Viking holding a spot for us! Low cut shirts + a little cuddling=great spot at ESPN :lmbo:

We really are married to the same person! OMG if the Saints were playing, he would be pitching a tent with a campfire outside. :p
Yeppers, I think our plan is in place. Vikaroo holds the spot, all it takes is some cleavage and some cuddling. I think a Sunday night game at ESPN is worth it. :cheers2:
I know I haven't signed up for this, but perhaps there's hope still. I'd like to do it...but just don't know if it'll work out! :idontgeti

OK Viking I am trying to determine if I should be insulted. I got not ONE comment about my cleavage when you took us to the executive lounge at Test Track. I purposely wore my "cleavage showing" top, to show my appreciation for you taking us to the lounge. So here's my question: Does my cleavage not count because it's not young enough? ;) :listen: :veryconfu :idontgeti :Pokepoke:

Cleavage is not only priceless, it's ageless.

He did say he likes cleavage, didn't he? Of course he's a politician.
