Dollar rent a car at MCO

Is there anyway that anyone knows of whether I can try and make sure we get a Dodge Grand Caravan (as opposed to Caravan) - there are 7 of us and it is going to be a squeeze with all the luggage!

I know we were not given a choice on our honeymoon when we rented a car but that was in 98 I am sure it has changed now but I would call and re confirm before you fly out just to add some refresher to the booking agent at the rental company.

In theory, I don't think they will give you a choice. However, I think that you can find the local phone number for the Dollar location, call them directly, and speak with a manager.

Once I was told if I wanted a grand caravan I would have to pay 25 more a day.... The next time I didnt even ask and got a grand without paying.

I think it is hit and miss or they charge you.

Don't know if this will help, but I have been able to select from 6-7-8 passenger minivans via alamo at MCO before.
