You are pretty awesome. THANKS FOR THE INFO! I wish I had your insight b4 I bought 200 points @ SSR, and would have waited for AKV. Foresight is 20/20, though I hear the dues there are much higher. They say after 1 year, anyone ought to be able to stay there at certain times of the year. We like to travel off peak, so maybe we will get lucky and land Concierge Level off peak.

Thanks!

my last Disney Cruise I drove to the port and payed $48.00 for the 4 days of parking and in October I will take the bus this time for the DVC members cruise. The $70.00 per person price tag is alot but with just three of us going it's cheaper then a limo.A town car would be around the same but tips will make it much more expensive.a stretch is $350.00 plus another $50 or more for a tip.It seems easier to take the bus with other people going on the cruise.

Love the portholes...where's the steam pipe? And does it have a cruise ship horn that plays the ships parting music?

'Dude', you're sure getting around this trip, covert ops and all!

Ok, I guess I'll be the 1 negative...I don't like it. I thought the older design was much nicer and classier.

Tiggerguy2000...did you consider renting a car each way? We always do that instead of the buses. It's cheaper, we go when we want (which is very early LOL) and more convenient than waiting for the buses. We're doing it again in November and it's about $60....$25 to get to the port & about $35 to return to MCO when we get back.

I sense being in a minority here, but I've seen these a lot the last week or so (not that I spend much time going up and down the I-4 or anything) but I think the "portholes" are way out of scale...just too big in my view.
sorry

I'm with Stimpy on the car. Much cheaper for a rental...even a Hummer costs less than their service fee. Of course, thanks to my employer sending me away from home 7 months a year I have enough hertz award points to get a prestige class car for free.

Not having seen the old design, I can't say if I thought it was better but the portholes remind me of the pictures I've seen of the large portholes in the oceanview cabin pictures. Has anyone been inside one of these buses yet? Is the design a one-way effect (an exterior decal/window shade with regular square windows from the inside) or did they actually put ship-style portholes in the buses?

Heck, with as much as they charge for the Disney Cruise, I think every one should get their own limo ride!

I couldn't agree more!!!

I too agree with the fact that renting a car (one way each way) is the best way to do for the money. A few hoops to jump through but the freedom is a plus. Will rent for our cruise next year too!

I can't decide on the design of the paint yet. I really like the old ones. Kind of a more retro look than these. I really got a kick out of the "Air Conditioned" words painted on the side. Important in FL in July!

Down side to the new ones. Now I have to buy DS an new set of WDW busses since they have the old one. Leave it to Disney to get more money out of my wallet!

We saw this new style a couple of times last week. Not sure if it was the same bus or we saw more than one, but I liked the "new" retro design. I didn't like when they started using DCL design busses as regular busses, not just for trips to the Port.
