Jellyrolls meet!

Who's interested in a meet at Jellyrolls? I personally haven't been there yet which is why I am so excited to go. I know alot of people rave about what fun it is.

After talking to Mar about it, she suggested that it would be a good night to combine the Off Kilter meet, the Illuminations meet & then have the Jellyrolls meet after that. So far, the best night for me would be Mondaynight but if another night works out better for everyone else, please let me know!

There is a entrance fee of $10 per person, (plus drinks & snacks, if you'd like, but other than the $10 entrance fee there are no other mandatory costs). Jellyrolls is for 21 +

Rut roh I thought we agreed on Monday night for this? That won't work for you stimpy?

Also, would you mind mentioning in your first post that this costs $8 to get in, but once in there is no additional charge unless you want food or drinks? Also, it's 21 and over only.

Unfortunately, only one of us will be able to go to Jellyrolls as the DS4 and DD1 need to be watched. My wife has agreed to let me be the one who gets to go. Of course I have to count this as the vacation she owes me...Back in 2005, my DW wanted to go to the Philippines on a month long vacation. I couldn't go as I was unemployed (starting in my new job about halfway through the planned vacation). She went without me. She said that I could have my own vacation at some point in the future...this is it. Oddly, she gets to come on MY vacation while I could not go on hers. Hey Kathy, sometimes you can put in a request for Scotty to sing Rainbow Connection and he still doesn't fit it in. So let's keep our fingers crossed and maybe if a bunch of us request it, he'll end up singing it. He's sang it the last two times I was a Jellyrolls.
And then there's "Sweet Caroline" and "Pink Cadillac". GOTTA hear those songs, too.

Pam is working so hard on the Illuminations viewing/dessert party, I felt a tad guilty not doing anything :crazy: Since the Jellyrolls meet follows the Illuminations meet, I was wondering who was going to try to do both?

I remember that when I attended a DIS board Jellyrolls meet that the gal who organized it got a half price entry for DISers. The group wasn't as large as this group seems to be getting...so I wonder if it would be worth it to call and ask if there might be a group discount. especially since it's midweek, and not usually crowded then, they might cut us a little break?????????

Stimpy...I'm thinking you should try to call the manager of Jelly's direct...what do you think? CAn't remember for sure, but I'm thinking the Disser might have called or dropped by a few days before to 'arrange' something. I was late and think I might have paid full price because the group needed to walk in together...but I may just be confused on that. Like you say, worth a try!
