Ten days from now, we'll be in mid flight...somewhere in the Atlantic between going feet wet over HHI and feet dry in Daytona......

The closer it gets, the more nervous I get....DD has classmate that has been out sick the past 2 days (and sits next to her in class)....Delta pilots - hope they don't strike...plus I keep checking the 10 day forecast for bad weather...

"Serenity now! Serenity now!"

And woohoo...my 200th Posts :wizard:

Eight more days and we should be through the gates at this time and hopefully on our way to Epcot to check out Illuminations....

Did anyone catch the Food Network special last night? I was only the last 15 minutes or so.

UTBS- We've got an ADR for the Breakfast at Cape May on Sunday morning. Looking forward to it. Then an ADR for Park Fare just before MVMCP. DW really wants to see the gingerbread house at the GF.

Bav- where are you staying?

Bav- where are you staying?

SSR, OKW, Dolphin and ??

Unless my waitlist fairy calls me back again, and then hopefully I'll only move once!!!!

Good thing I am very used to packing a suitcase :)

Here's hoping for warm days and cool nights - I love Epcot for the holidays when there is a nip in the air.....

Are we down to 7 Curise? I caught the 1st hour on Food network. Very fun! Guess I'll have to take back my grumblings about dh and the food channel. ;) Not a good channel when you're trying to watch what you eat. I'm sure teh Disney goodies were very good for you though! (Good for the soul counts, right?)

So, here's my order when you go:

Gingerbread House from GF
Glass Slipper Dessert
Gingerbread Man with Mickey Ears
Chocolate Carousel Horse from BC
Chocolate boards from the BW, very cool!
Any chocolate item from teh African Village at AK

That should do. TIA! ;) :Pokepoke:

Puck - Yes, we are down to SEVEN!. According to weather.com, it's supposed to be mid-70's next weekend. Maybe we'll run into Bav....he'll be the one rolling his suitcase around Epcot :monkey:

And BTW, I think they have the decorations and goodies through Marathon weekend. So you may have to fuel up at the GF in mid-race.

Til tomorrow......:wizard:

AHEM * * *

I (she) will no longer be rolling around the world, the waitlist fairy has graced me with six nights all in one place! :bluebloun

Now, just a warning, I do have a talent for tracking people down and leaving them things (although I will admit that I haven't really stalked you to figure out where you will be and critical details ;))

oooh I'll have to put my sleuthing skills to work... I'll admit that it wasn't too hard to find JimFitz at SSR a few weeks ago!

And dvcconvert and I didn't realize that we were both at OKW at the same time until a few weeks later!

I'll be the one on my balcony in the mornings eating my Nutella on toast and enjoying my coffee! :goodvibes

In six more days, I'll be leaving work for the day....then taking the dogs to puppy camp...picking up DD from school...and waiting for DW to get home so we can head to the airport.....roll our luggage to the plane and "pink tag" them, so the bags wil be waiting for us on the tarmac at MCO...then off to the Thrifty shuttle...and finally thru the Disney gates :coolcar: ....

We'll be a PoP for Friday night, then heading over to BCV early next Sat AM....if I get my pick of rooms, what should I request?....In reality, as long as it's N/S, I think we'll be happy....if they try to stick us with a S room:yuck: , we'll be :burningma

Anyway, gotta go watch my Heels play KY in a few minutes....

Just checked Weather.com and the High here Friday is 39 and partly cloudy....better than last night when they were predicting rain/snow....

DW is not normally a planner for our Disney Trips but she wants to do a monorail tour of the Gingerbread houses and also see the one at AKL....

BTW, where is the Gingerbread Carousel? At BW?

Yes, the carousel is at BW. The lobby at BCV is great too (but of course you will see that!). WL is worth a visit, as are the monorail resorts.

I just put some laundry in to start packing, and mailed a box of german Christmas cookies and gingerbread to arrive for my stay!!!!

We've just got a few more sleeps!!! :bluebloun

I have a photo of a ferris wheel - maybe I am getting that confused? Also do they change them out every few years??

See, it's definitely time for a trip to WDW!!!!

It seemed like BW had a mini carnival (boardwalk :hammer: ) atmosphere, but I swear I hear that BC had 100 pound chocolate carousel horses. Then again, my memory told me that teh carousel was at BW. You'll have to let me know what your eyes tell you!

Looks like may get some rain in Orlando...glad I bought those cheapie ponchos at Target...they came in red and green, so I got a set of each color...

Chance of sleet/snow/freezing rain tomorrow night....should be cleared up by noon though in time for our 5:10PM flight...if school is canceled/delayed, then DD will be going to work with DW. DD has a cold right now, but still excited about the trip. Weather.com now has 30% chance of showers on Sat & Sun....have poncho's will travel....but don't want the parades/fireworks to get rained out.....

Looks like the Delta pilots aren't going to act before December 16th....we return on the 13th. Check out this article on http://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory?id=1383595 Look at the ad banner on the right....(You may have to refresh to see the ad I'm refering to...very ironic.)

Just went to Thrifty.com and did the book/cancel thing. Saved $9 on an intermediate....$11.99/day.

I tried to print our boarding passes for Delta, but it won't allow me to check in online...I'm on hold right now...:catchingz

Looks like rain/freezing rain/sleet/snow tonight, but should clear up by afternoon...just hope our plane doesn't have to come from up north...
