Maybe we can do it during an EMH evening, and also take in the second show of Fantasmic if they have one.

I lovelovelove Osborne lights!
Count me in for TOT too...and it wouldn't be out of line to hit RnR at the same time would it?

Rita, I'm not sure about doing the gathering on an EMH night. The parks are usually so packed on those nights. But I don't see why we couldn't do the TOT, then Osbourne, and then those who want to go to Fantasmic! could do so even if it isn't an EMH night.
CB, if you want to coordinate a meet at RnR the same night that'd be great. You, Roz and I can (hopefully) all agree on a date/time.

Great idea Mar. :wearenumb I agree on the EMH nights. The tower and the coaster get swamped and bottlenecked.
I'll get a TOT thread started!

At the risk of "upsetting the apple cart", as my grandmother used to say, can we do everything we're planning in the one evening? Right now we're scheduled for Chef Mickey's at 5:00, a photo op at TOT (for those brave enough), then Osborne Lights, all on a night when MGM closes at 8:00. And how will we get from Chef Mickey's to MGM-what's the most direct way? I'm just wondering if we should do the lights and/or TOT photo op on another night, but I have no idea when. The only thing I do know is that the EMH schedule has finally come out and MGM is open late on Sunday.

The bus is probably the fastest way to get from the Contemp to MGM.
As long as we do TOT first I see no problem fitting it all in.
Although MGM closes at 8, as long as we are already in the park we can take as long as we like to view the lights, they will not throw us out. Although the attractions will be closed, the Osborne Lights remain on for quite some time after closing. It really doesn't take all that long to view them anyway, but I guess that depends on how long you decide to linger.
There IS a chance that the line at TOT will be too long and we will have to skip that one, but I hope not. :fingerscr :fingerscr

Now that I see the Osborne Lights viewing has been officially changed to Thursday night, I'm afraid I won't be able to make it. My flight home leaves Thursday morning. Am I your first cancellation? Hopefully, the only cancellation!

Since I'm responsible for moving the Osborne lights to Thursday, I'll also be bowing out. That's the day/night (hopefully) that we'll be at Kennedy Space Center for the shuttle launch.

Hey there all you Osborners! To make sure the TOT folks have time to take their photo and get over to the lights it looks like 7:30 will be a good time for this meet.
How does that work for everyone who's signed up?
One more thing--any suggestions for a really good place to meet so we can all find one another? I'll bring a mouseowners banner of some sort, but we need a general vicinity to meet. Ideas?

Maybe in front of Starring Rolls? That has always seemed to us to be a good meeting spot, kinda in corner not around bottlenecks. Then we could walk over together?? Maybe? Just a suggestion...

Thanks for the idea, and I agree that starring Rolls is a good out of the way spot Rozaroo for a rendezvous. However I think I'd rather meet a little closer to where the Osborne lights show is. This way if someone shows at the last minute we'll still be at the lights by 7:30 and catch the music along with the light display.
I thought and thought and came up with this idea--Let's meet at the DVC booth opposite the entrance to the sci fi dine in. That's pretty much right around the corner from the Osborne lights. If for some reason that booth has been moved/removed by December (it was there 4 weeks ago when I was there) we can meet in front of the Sci Fi dine in anyway.
BTW Roz, thanks for the suggestion of meeting BEFORE we get to the lights and all walking over together. That was a great idea, for some reason that hadn't occured to me. :woohoodan :worship:
