Who's up for an Off Kilter Show?

We're going to meet at the Off Kilter stage (Outside of the Canadian Pavillion) on Monday 12/3 to see the 7:30 show. The show last one half hour. This is being coordinated to be just prior to the illuminations meet on the same night. Right after illuminations is Jellyrolls. Do one, do two, do all three, your choice! They're a very funny, very talented Rock band who play at the Canadian Pavillion. They dress in Kilts and perform some celtic "classics" i.e. Danny Boy, Loch Lomond, Irish Rover, usually with a "twist"--For instance, their Danny Boy is a rock and roll version. They also do some rock and roll covers, ie summer of '69 Taking Care of Business. Both complete with rocked-out bagpipe playing, it really is a unique sound.

But it's not just the music that is appealing. They have a tremendous rapport with the audience, and have a way of making people laugh even with (sometimes) the lamest jokes.

Can you tell I'm a big fan, LOL? My avatar is of me and the band.

I noticed this as well. The prior two weeks the schedule was the usual one. Every now and then they do change the schedule, but it's always gone back to the "regular" one. But of course I can't make any guarantees.

So I think it's up to everyone to decide what they want to do if the last show is 6:15 instead of the usual 7:30. My DD and I will be there either way, so whoever does attend won't be alone. We have the two other events that night, so if the time changes for Off Kilter and you can't make it I'll see you later on.

By the way Steve Soares puts out the new weeks sched on Saturday night sometime after 9. So if you take a look you'll know the times before you leave for WDW.

I'll let everyone who hasn't had a chance to check the times know what's what at the pool meet and the bellvue meet on Sunday. :dancingba
