Probably I'm the only one who didn't know this, that reservations for any 2007 tours can be made at any time now. That got me thinking-if everyone (or a large group of "everyones") wants to take a particular tour on a particular day in December, they might start thinking about reserving it soon. I didn't know that tours could be booked this far ahead.

Thanks for the info, we missed out on the Yuletide Fantasy Tour this past December as it was booked fulled.
Will call the first chance I get.

Great..I wonder if we could get a bunch of us together to do the Yuletide tour??? Or are we trying to stick to inexpensive?

The Yuletide Fantasy Tour is similar to 'Bavaria's Chocolate Around the World' tour, but without any chocolate... :ROTFL:
You are whisked around WDW to view various holiday decorations at the parks and resorts, and it used to include a 'behind the scenes' part about how they design, decorate etc

Are you saying you don't go behind the scenes anymore?

You get to visit World Showcase before it's open to the public--that was kinda neat. And you also visit the holiday warehouse, but it's empty.
It was more fun seeing the holiday warehouse full during the Backstage Magic tour.
I believe you can book tours up to a year in advance of the tour date.

I think we should do a Segway tour together!!!!!
It was fun having the run of World Showcase before it opened to the public.
It would make a great picture....and.....
I'd bring chocolate!:loveisint

Ooo I always wanted to do the Segway tour but we always have the kids with us! Since we'll be kidless this trip, we would probably be interested in that.
The Yuletide tour sounds really nice too but I think we sort of do that on our own. But I think it's a great idea for the people that do want to do it!

Thanks, Dorothy! I went ahead and booked the Yuletide Fantasy Tour for December 5th.
Anyone else interested in touring?

I'd like to do the Backstage Safari tour. If anyone else is interested, we can coordinate date and time. If no one else wants to do this tour, then we'll plan on doing it in October.
Since I've already done Yuletide Fantasy, I have no interest in doing it again.

I knew I should have talked DH into a longer trip ;) That sounds like fun too! Is that an really early morning one?

No, it's not similar to the Sunrise Safari. It probably meets about at the park opening time (I'd have to check to be sure). Here's some info about the tour from All Ears Net (http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/tours.htm#bss).
I'd be up for Segway, but I don't know if Doug would be. If that's what we as a group decide on, I'll have to ask him.
*edit* I was just on DVCmember.com, and it indicates the tour meets at 8:30 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

I'd love to do the Segway Tour! I'm assuming that those of us staying at Epcot resorts would be able to get in thru IG early for it?

Yes, you can get in thru IG. You then have to go over to meet at guest relations over by Spaceship Earth. I just loved the tour and would love to go again.

Backstage safari sounds great! I have always wanted to do that!!
Sorry Stimparoo, I'll have to pass on the Segway. Once is enough for me. My life flashed before my eyes at the goldfish pond bridge in Japan! :hammer:

Athena, if you're concerned about coordination, meet me-queen of the klutzes. I tripped over a crack in the sidewalk at Epcot once and fell flat on my face-on a solo trip! Anywho-try the couple minute free Segway "trial" in Innoventions West if you're not sure if you can handle the full tour. I did and I even took pictures to prove it to DH. He was so sure I'd klutz out on a Segway tour, he laughed uproariously (He threatened to get more insurance on me before I rode one). I had a bunch of pictures taken to prove I really rode one. Try it-that's what's gotten me all set for the tour. And if I can figure this out, I'll post my pictures.
