May have to cancel November day!

I know this will be moved, once we get a rent board up and running, but I just wanted to let you all know that I am probably going to cancel the couple days I was able to snag at BWV during food and wine. I had a ressie in October but opted for my Panama Canal cruise....then I tried to get a three day trip in November, but all they have is: Nov 6 PV and November 9 BW...If anyone could use one of these days , tell me before I have to cancel in 3 days. Hate to see them go to waist, but not sure any more fill in days will become available.

Since we don't yet have a Rent/Trade forum, I moved this thread from the resorts forum to the trip planning forum; it just seemed like a better place for it. I'm thinking that the Resorts forum will be where we'll tout the virtues (or not) of our resorts, etc.

I hope I'm not seeming heavy-handed by doing this!! :eek:

Is BWV the only place you're willing to stay? Isn't anyplace else available?

Not yet.... But I have a feeling I'll be "throwing my weight" around after I get back from F&W (urp)!!! ;)

Actually, you have no idea how long I agonized over whether to move the thread with a link, copy the thread, or just move the thread without a link. I pondered the ramifications for so long I gave myself a brain cramp. :confused:

I was not envisioning a possible difficulty this early on. Sigh. :(

I think the post is better over here...thank you for moving it. I made the ressie back in July when I booked the cruise and there was nothing anywhere as far as I can remember. Since BWV is my home resort,I wanted to stay there. I got one day and waitlisted on either side...that's how I got Nov 6.

If you know of anyone who has been trying to get one more day, let me know. Otherwise, I think I will cancel on Friday.

We are not able to do the F&W this year (doing 3 day DCL though.. no complaints), but I hope to tag on a couple of days either before or after the member cruise in Oct 2006. I LOVE F&W and I LOVE the BWVS!!

BTW The 18 day cruise at a great deal is worth canceling F&W this year... ((((Hugs)))))

I just cancelled our BWV stay in January for Marathon weekend :(

But I did pick up 3 days in a studio for HHI during Spring Break week. Check in on Sunday 4/9 and check out Wed 4/12. Waitlisting for a studio on 4/13 & 4/14. I was surprised to get a studio inside the 7 month window. :)
