Hi,

I think too much. Mom says HH is a diffinate! So when??? for a long weekend. Thursday to Sun. Banking the rest for the year. It's a tricky thing because I hope to have a job after 6/06. So besides the grad trip we were thinking a long weekend @ HH.

Saturday nights are a killer on points....3x's weeknights, so I would book cash if I were you.....and maybe Friday too...

You may want to try before Memorial Day when all the kiddies get out of school or After Labor Day, when the kiddies have gone back and the weather is still warm....

The other issue is that there are very few studios and 1BR's, so May is is inside the 7 month window. IMHO, there is not that much difference in point costs b/n 1 & 2BR, so maybe you could invite a couple of others and dilute the costs....

sorry allison i have not been to HH yet, i was actually thinking of going during the summer. I still have to look at the point chart and paying cash on the weekend sounds better then wasting points. good luck !

Must agree with Cruise, getting any studio within 7-month window between Mid-June and Labor Day may prove difficult.

However, point structure being what it is, folks do check out on Fridays so you could get lucky. This may work in your favor.

I'd opt for a late May time frame. Weather should be awesome.

We bought there 5 years ago and have loved every minute of it. Go for it!

We were in a studio for the first week this past June. I booked it at 7 months out and had no problem. In October I booked a 1 bedroom for the first week in June for next year and had no problem with that either. The weather was beautiful and it wasn't crowded because the school are not closed up north yet. We loved it and can't wait to go back next year.

I am banking 45 points into 2007 which has 189 points. Total of 234 So we have to think of any vacations past 2/07

Ooohhh, very nice. September should be awesome.

DW and I talk about our future trips that will occur after Labor Day, but for now while the kids are in school, we'll need to stick to our August trips.

You can still borrow from your '07 UY, but if you book Fri & Sat w/member cash discount, then it's moot...

BTW, we stayed in September and are going back in April for Easter week. The points are the same, but the cash price is about $100 or so more for Easter week as it was for this past September...so no Friday night for us..
