BCV in May for a 2-bedroom. I thought that was pretty cool to get our first choice at 5 3/4 months... didn't have to be on the phone the morning of the 7 month mark or anything.

We're taking the mother-in-law for a 3-night Mother's Day treat.

Congratulations on your ressie!!! That is pretty good for around Mother's Day at BCV:beaniepro We made our first ressie six months ahead for a 2 br at OKW and we didn't have any problems last year either. I do like to make plans further ahead when I can though:goodvibes

Ok, so we just decided to add a couple nights to the beginning of the trip for just the two of us, before we go get the MIL. Now to decide where to stay for those. :)

I'm thinking just a studio since it's only a couple nights and we won't use a kitchen. Maybe OKW, but probably SSR... want something not on the Boardwalk (since we'll be at BCV a few days later), have stayed at WL before, and we'll have a car, so it seems like a good time to try out one of the more remote ones!

I would recommend SSR for the two of you in a studio - that way you will have a sofa (OKW studios have 2 Queen beds)

Enjoy!

Thanks guys!

I used the little form on the member website to request a reservation. First choice SSR and second choice OKW. So, we'll see! I'm looking forward to trying out our home resort, and I'll make a dinner reservation at Portabello's (where we ate dinner right after we got engaged) so we can enjoy the walk to DD.

I'm excited because after all our trips to WDW, we've still never been to Typhoon Lagoon, but May weather and crowds should be great for that. So in our two "alone days," we'll do that and also go to AK and ride EE a bunch of times. Then during the MIL portion of the trip (staying in 2-bedroom at BCV), we'll just go at whatever her pace is, and while she's taking way longer than us to get up and ready to go to parks, we'll have SAB to enjoy.

Thanks for letting me talk your ears off... I'm looking forward to this!
