Well it's been cold for a while here, but we finally got a whole inch of snow, and everyone is really ready for Feb vacation and the cruise. Dan (18) is all about parasailing at Castaway Cay, and Don is looking forward to "thawing out" as he says. He doesn't know it, but I booked the Rasul too! I'll post back with a PG-13 report of that!- :shhh:

It's the Eastern. On the St. Thomas day, Don and I are doing a snorkel trip to St. John. Packing is ahead this weekend -- that'll make the time go by a little faster.

We loved our cruise on the Eastern last May. St. John snorkeling should be a lot of fun!! (Be prepared for an alternate plan if weather cancels St. John excursions as it did on our trip.) In that case, Magens Bay on St. T is nice, but no snorkeling. (A sea turtle did swim around.)

Be sure to book a Palo brunch as well as dinner. Both were excellent, but we really loved the brunch. Anne Marie from South Africa is a fantastic server - she often gets requested.
