Last week I visited DLR for the first time. I stopped at a DVC cart (they don't even get booths there!) in California Adventure and talked for awhile. They gave me a Portable Perks booklet with DVC discounts at DLR.

I was not aware there was such a thing! I'm sure these are listed online somewhere. Could someone tell me where? If no one can find them, I suppose I could post them.

I usually print out sheets for DLR from dvcmember.com. The DLR perks are listed there.

Actually on our December 2005 trip, we mentioned we were DVC members at check-in and were given a Portable Perks at that time.

Right now the perks are not that great. There are much better perks for DLR Annual Passholders. However, once the DVC at Grand Californian is announced, you should see these perks improve, including a better discount on Annual Passes at DLR.

Dave, I'm not sure if DLR has a better AP discount. Even the military only gets $20 off for an annual pass.

But we did use our DVC discount at Wetzel's Pretzels for a quick meal the day we arrived.

Rita, you are right $20.00 off a DLR annual pass is the most they give to anyone currently.
However, remember that the $100.00 DVC AP discount at WDW is higher than any other discount they give. If a DVC opens at DLR, they may decide to up the discount.

Also, to get the DVC discount, you have to buy your ticket that day. I'd like it of DLR had vouchers that you could redeem at the appropriate time, like WDW has.
