After working on DH for many years, I finally won him over and we just purchased at SSR! Thanks for all the information on these boards, since it really helped us learn everything that we needed before we took the big leap. I think he is now more excited for our first trip than I am... well, maybe not :)

Why is it always the husband? I had to do the same thing. We have many timeshares outside of Disney that we started buying 5 years ago. I had to beg my DH to go on the Disney tour. He promised me that we could go see SSR this past Nov. He kept his promise and I got my Christmas present. We purchased 250pts. He was very impressed with the resort and the fact that if you decide to sell the value isn't lost. Now I am selling some of the other timeshares to purchase more points. This was his suggestion. I'm slowly converting him into a Disney fanatic. Disney wasn't in his vocab 10 years ago. He's come a long way. Congrats on your purchase...you will be extremely happy!!!
