Hi everyone,

I figured I had better take a few minutes to say hi and introduce myself...Probably should have done that before I started posting to other sections or starting threads. :tilt: Anyways I figured I better post here before the internet cops pull me over for an ettiquette infraction

My wife, Betty and I (Brian) have two kids....3 and 2 months. We bought into SS just this August. We have another timeshare but figured we were mainly wanting to spend time at WDW and DLR so figured it was better to deal directly with Disney instead of Interval INternation with all the exchange fees.

 I hate to admit it but I found mouseowners back when I was researching DVC and raided it for info but did not register until I needed a question answerwed. I'll hang my head in shame now :bagovermy

My first WDW experience was 1990 when stationed in Orlando for navy training....sadly I didnt use my annual passport much...no car or time. My next time there was my honeymoon in 2001 and we just loved it....was there for the Epcot international food and wine festival. I can't figure out why Epcot isn't the most popular place on Earth at that time...so much to eat drink and sample!!!! :jumpingbe

Anyways, we can't wait to get back to the greatest place on earth! (Disneyland is the only happiest place in my mind....grew up in AZ....5 hours from there....almost every vacation we took was there!) Oh yeah, also went to Tokyo Disneyland in 2002...very wierd...it was like going back in time to the disneyland I remembered in the 1970's...except for the surreal effect of having characters speak english in familiar voices and then suddenly change to japanese with different people voicing them. :holymoly:

I hope to get to Hong Kong and Paris and take a cruise...do the full experience sometime...hope to see you around the worlds of Disney! :reporter:

Brian, Welcome to Mouseowners - and thanks for taking the time to say "Hi!"
:welcome:

Most importantly, we're glad we could help you jump into the magic of DVC - now, we're eagerly awaiting trip reports from Paris, Hong Kong, cruises, and all the rest that you want to share. . . .

Brian -

Thanks fro saying hi! One of the reasons this board is here is to make people feel more comfortable posting. You obviously didn't need that. No ettiquette infraction here! We love to see people making themselves at home!

Welcome to MouseOwners!

We planned to go a 4-day cruise next year and I am looking forward with it..:blueflowe and then when we will be getting off the boat.. we will drive to the coast- visiting the key west ( I wanna taste the key lime pie hehehehe), miami and then visit to Vero Beach resort... and then stay at Saratoga springs for 4 days and have fun at the park. I really love to visit again in Disneyworld.. where I first visit then during my honeymoon... But right now we are bringing our two adorable kids.. and am sure they gonna have fun

Welcome home! :howudoin:

As a fellow West Coaster, it's nice being here...makes me want to go home! I'm a relative newbie as well, but everyone's been awesome here.

Hope you feel the same! ;) (found the smilie Mar'...can't tell you how many times I had gone up & down the smilie list the night I was looking for it, even searched the smilie page for wink & winking)
