im new here and just wanted to say and intro myself. :)
my name is autumn, i was born and raised in hampton va. my first disney trip was at the age of 17 in 96, did disney world for a day. my next trip was the following year at 18 with a friend. we did 4 days and mgm, epcot, and disney world, they werent totally dont with animal kingdom then (i think they were still building asia), so we held off on that one. we stayed on "hotel row" right there in front of downtown disney.
in may of 2004 i married my husband drew. 3 weeks later he went out on a 6 1/2 month deployment in the navy. we have a house in hampton, i work in williamsburg va, and he is stationed at oceana. we dont have any kids. just a few cats and a dog.:D
in fall of 05 we spent a week at disney (his first trip to disney at 29) . we stayed at all star music while they were doing that "stay on site, buy so many days of a pass and get your meals for free" deal.
that trip we did epcot, mgm, disney, and animal kingdom. the day we did animal kingdom drew signed us up for the DVC tour. we dug the tour, we dug the idea, we just werent financially there.
well this nov. went to flordia for a tdy for drew. i went to epcot and sea world for the days while he was in conference with a friend. we then went to go roam around downtown and said, hey lets go get the new dvc pricing on the way. well that turned into a tour, which informed us of the whole 15th ann sale etc. then i mentioned a friend who was a member which included a bit more discount. needless to say we ended up joining wends afternoon before i left to come home.
currently we're planning a big group trip with friends as a graduation/friend vacation type combination. im just super excited as i am a disney fanatic, and my husband is becoming one. (we have more stitch collectors pins than god should allow and now that disney is pimping pirates big time we're getting a huge disney collection of pirate gear/items on topof his already big collection of pirate stuff as he wants to be a pirate when he grows up.)
