On the night of Mr Roz's big #35, we will be at Flying Fish. (I know, I caved) Is it possible to have a cake delivered from the Bakery to the restaurant, or do I have to do the leg work?
Also, does anyone have the # to the Bakery, and any experiences with different types of cake would be great. I know there is a big thread on the other board, but was looking for some more personal experiences from my friends! :sunny:
TIA!
Hey Rozzie,
I think you're much better letting Flying Fish handle it. I'd call them and ask what to do. I know they have some "Happy Birthday" creme brulee's made up because my kids always ask for them now that they know they are there. If you wind up with a cake coming in from the bakery, it will be best if the folks at Flying Fish are controlling it.

Hi Roz- :)
We had a Birthday celebration for my step-dad last Oct. at Spoodles. I went to the BWB a couple of days before the dinner and ordered a Mickey Mouse chocolate cake for him- I cant remember if it was $25 or $45 for the cake.:headscrat
Anyways, the Mgr. over at Spoodles simply went over to the Bakery and brought it to the table for us- complete with candles. The cake was "ok" but looked adorable!

I posted this one for you too so you can see how big the cake is- Not huge but VERY filling!

If I recall correctly, the BW bakery got a new manager. Zurgswife would know best.
There is a generic cake line that you can call, where you can customize your cake.
I forget the number but if you call the dining line, they'll send you the right way.

I've done this before and am doing it again for my daughter's boyfriend's b-day this January. The number to call for custom cake delivery to any WDW restaurant is 407 560 3551. They need at least 2 days advance notice.

That's great info, Mar'...
Do they handle the interface with the restaurant staff, or do you have to alert them that a cake is coming? I assume it gets delivered earlier in the day and isn't a "just in time" delivery.

I mentioned it when I arrived and they said they were already aware. Yes, you are right, it is not a just in time sorta thing.

I agree with John (jdvm).
Basically, I'd make sure to have the event noted in the ADR - call FF and make sure they know your desires :)

I third what John and Convert said. My post may not have made that clear. Although I did check to be sure the cake had arrived, I also had the event noted down when I made the original reservation. I don't like to leave anything to chance when it comes to special occasions. :goodvibes
