hello to my fello Disney Fans, I am rather new to the concept of message boards and on line posts so please give me a pass for now. I recently was at my home resort of Saratoga Springs and I must say that I was not too pleased with my stay. I found the guests at the parks to be rather rude and the cast to be the same....perhapst this was on the heels of the food and wine festival and the cast had had their fill of "tasters" but none the less this trip was not my "Million Dream" vacation.

First let me say :welcome: to Mouse Owners. Sorry that you had a bad trip. The first time I took the wife to Disney World we had a similar experience. But every time we go back we realize that there is no where we'd rather be. And since we have found this site, we are definitely excited that we took the plunge and became DVC members. That's too bad. Were there specific instances with Cast Members that troubled you? You mentioned the Food and Wine fest. Were some of the things you saw perhaps limited to that venue? I'm guessing it's not unheard of for some adults to engage in somewhat boorish behavior while getting their fill of food and drink. :ale: :birhdaypa

I guess the thing I always try to remember is that it's only the bad situations that tend to stand out. Each Disney park will have 30,000-40,000 guests on a SLOW day, and I'm sure some percentage of those guests are not primarily interested in sharing the magic.

The good news is that with DVC you can already start planning your next trip. Hopefully it will be memorable for better reasons. ;)

Sorry about the dreamless trip - Even Disney can have an off time, I guess. We had mixed experiences on our last trip, but the ups definitely erased the downs and it was clear there were just a couple of people who weren't having a good day.
