Odd... DVC DDP price? Discount? Tax?

I'm confused. I thought it was 38.99 / 10.99.
I figured 699.72 for 2 adults and 2 kids for 7 nights.
I just called and was told I would owe $685.72 at check-in.

Do we get a discount or is this before tax or what? I had pulled the 38.99 / 10.99 price off of DVC's member website. I wonder if this is new 2007 pricing I was quoted today? :scratchch

The difference is $14.00, which means you probably just have the wrong price for either the adult or child price.

I doubt we actually get a discount of 0.50 per day.

Shan, If you are like us, you are checking in on the 31st. The price is $37.99 for 2006, so you get the 2006 price because your checking in before 2007. At least that's what MS told me. That seems to cover your difference.

Yeah, we are doing HDD. That $200+ meal was just killing me. Even though it cost 2 table service credits, I still think the DDP will be a pretty good deal for us. When I looked at the cost of our TS meals I had planned, there was only about $130 difference for the rest of the week. I knew we couldn't cover our other meals for that little, so we are going to give it a try. I'll have my weight watcher diet all laid out for when we return home!:ROTFL:
